In 2003, the idea of creating a Gala Dinner & Charity Auction to raise funds for Vietnamese children started. Since its inception, Operation Smile has proudly raised over USD 2,527,500 to directly benefit over 11,400 children with safe cleft surgeries, postoperative and ongoing medical therapies.
During the night of Gala Dinner, guests have a chance to indulge themselves in a warm cozy night with special entertainment, raffle prizes, and exciting auction items and packages including original artwork, dining, traveling packages at five-star hotels and resorts in Vietnam and overseas. In 2019, the Art Auction and Gala Dinner were organized in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the organization in Vietnam.
