OPERATION SMILE WORKS IN CLOSE COLLABORATION WITH SIKA AND MOMO ON NEW PROJECTS
As one of the world’s leading specialty chemical companies, Sika has built a strategic partnership with Operation Smile Vietnam. Over the past 10 years, Sika has helped thousands of Vietnam children to have new smiles. Besides huge financial donations, the company’s employees dedicatedly participated in surgical missions and donated their time and efforts as non-medical volunteers. By doing so, they understand more about the work and the meaning of giving, as well as contribute to the success of those missions.
In an attempt to continue the medical treatments in 2021, Sika Vietnam donates an amount of VND 700,000,000 to surgical funds of Operation Smile which helps provide 70 free surgeries for children born with cleft conditions.

INSPIRING RUN CMC 28 RAISED VND280,000,000
Initiated by CMC, the running race as a means to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the corporate has successfully raised VND280,000,000. From Apr 26 to May 25, the race attracted 2,101 participants and finished 224,992.86 km. Its achievement will help repair smiles for 28 children born with cleft lip and palate. Moreover, the activity has connected people amid the covid-19 and inspired the community to take action for the cause that brings a new future to unlucky children.
OPERATION SMILE VIETNAM DONATED 36,000 DETERMINANT MASKS
May 18-20, Operation Smile Vietnam handed 36,000 Determinant masks (by Esquel group) over to governments, provincial organizations, hospitals, etc. 20,000 masks to Bac Giang Youth Union
10,000 masks to Vietnam Young Physician Association
5,000 masks to The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs
1,000 masks to Vietnam Cuba Friendship Hospital
For the purpose of joining hands to stop and prevent the Covid-19 outbreak, we are continuing to send the masks to organizations and provinces in need.
AN AUCTION OF THE WATCH VALUED ‘1,000KM’
️Ultrain is a community of trainers and runners who work as a team, share knowledge about sports training, promote an active lifestyle and connect people.
On 2 days – April 30 and May 1, members of Ultrain took part in a 1,000km running relay and recorded this activity by a Garmin Forerunner 945 watch. After finishing the challenge in 87hours and 49 minutes, the group decided to make the relay more meaningful by an auction. The watch recording their teamwork and efforts will be auctioned to raise funds for Operation Smile Vietnam and help bring smiles to children with cleft.
