CROSS VIETNAM RELAY RUN 2023

Following the success of helping 99 children receive new smiles in 2020, the Cross-Vietnam Relay Run has officially resumed with a higher goal, specifically aimed at helping children in Vietnam’s highland provinces.

The relay run through Vietnam 2023 is expected to begin at 00 a.m. on January 1, 2023 at Lung Cu Flagpole – Ha Giang and end at Ca Mau Cape; the estimated time of completion is January 14, 2023.

10 athletes participating in this journey include Huỳnh Thái Lộc và Nguyễn Thanh Bình (Bình Dương Running Club), Trần Ngọc (GOYA Runners & Friend), Trương Văn Tâm (T-Coaching), Hoàng Xuân Vân Anh (Cộng Đồng Chạy Bộ Theo Nhịp Tim MAF – MAFVN), Nguyễn Hoàng Nam (Sơn Trà Runner), Bùi Văn Đà (Bến Tre), Lò Văn Hồng (CLB Tia Chớp xanh – Học viện Cảnh sát nhân dân), Vũ Đình Duân và Nông Văn Chuyền (Tốc Sport).

Every day, 10 athletes will be divided into 5 pairs with the goal of each pair completing a 60km route regardless of whether it is morning, afternoon, rain, or shine in order to set a new distance and time record in comparison to the 2020 cross-country running relay (2,603 km with a time of 251 hours and 11 minutes).

The running community can register to participate at any point along the race route for a fee of 300,000 VND (not including the delivery fee). Each runner who successfully registers will receive a special edition 2023 shirt as a gift from the program. The top ten athletes with the highest kilometers will receive a gift worth 500,000 VND.
