356 DAYS OF RUNNING FULL MARATHON FOR CHILDREN’S SMILES
Starting from January 1, 2023, the 365-day journey of running a full marathon – 42km each day by Lê Thị Hằng has concluded with many emotions from the running community and those who have been following and accompanying her throughout the past year. Despite numerous challenges, the journey has spread the smile of the girl from Vũng Tàu, surpassing her own passion to become a life-changing journey, spreading the spirit of #sportchangeslives, and lighting up smiles to brighten the future of less fortunate children.
Operation Smile Vietnam is honored to welcome Lê Thị Hằng to our office, and to present 5 smiles to children with cleft lip and palate. On behalf of the medical team and the families of the patients undergoing surgery, we express our gratitude for the extraordinary determination and the love for running of Lê Thị Hằng, which has created miracles.
